House Energy Rating has been in business for 7 years. We provide commercial and domestic energy efficiency ratings for builders, private home owners, developers, architects as well as the government.

We have the knowledge and the means to provide workable solutions to your building problems and can provide advice on building matters. Our experienced Energy Efficiency Consultants are here to help you with any queries or concerns you may have with your building.

House Energy Rating is managed by Jim Woolcock. Jim completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Adelaide, and has over 10 years experience in the building industry. The majority of his work has been in the commercial and industrial areas, however for the last 7 years he has been heavily involved in the domestic side of ratings. Jim and his wife Michelle have just built their own 'environmentally friendly' house, which can be viewed in the links to the left of this page.

House Energy Rating Team

HER is staffed by a team with backgrounds in engineering, architecture, building design, construction, ecology, Environmental Sustainable Design, urban planning and Information Technology. HER can manage multiple projects from the development and design of energy efficient buildings to total site advice and evaluation.
